GROUNDS & LANDSCAPE PROJECT CHALLENGE
After hiring an accomplished architectural firm to design the Life Enriching Gardens, Maple Knoll faced two significant challenges in completing the landscaping/grounds design & installation project:
- Cost: Bringing the complex features of three distinct gardens to life would prove to be a demand on the remaining budget.
- Schedule: With winter weather and spring rains standing in the way of the April dedication ceremony, an accelerated timeline became absolutely essential for completing the project.

Viox Services grounds management and commercial landscape professionals assumed the role of the landscape installation project liaison between Maple Knoll and the architectural firm. Applying commercial landscape design and construction services experience, Viox created a grounds and landscaping installation solution that worked within the allowed budget and timeframe.
GROUNDS/LANDSCAPE SERVICES RESULTS
Founded in 1848, Maple Knoll Village, a property of LifeSphere, is a long-term care community situated on 54 acres in Cincinnati, Ohio. The sights, sounds and human interactions of nature are integrated into daily therapies and experiences available to residents through Maple Knoll's Life Enriching Gardens.
